A Hybrid of Flat UI and Realism?

Is there a possible good hybrid of Flat UI and Realism?

Bold design creates hierarchy. meaning, and focus Deliberate color choices, edge-to-edge imagery large-scale typography, and intentional white space create immersion and clarity.

These, alongwith the idea that the interface should feel natural!

So that’s a mix of Flat UI will making it feel natural. This seems like a good option over Flat UI, and probably a step forward. I find this to be a very intertesting one.

Also, I will go through the whole Google Design website. Very interesting stuff.
